What do the coverage chips and gaps mean?
Last updated July 3, 2026
Coverage tells you whether each service point has enough people on it during the hours you're open. The colored chips make it scannable at a glance.
- Green — covered: enough staff for the whole open period.
- Amber — understaffed: someone's on, but below the minimum, or only part of the day.
- Red — uncovered: no one assigned during open hours.
Note
Coverage is time-aware — a desk staffed for only part of the open day counts as understaffed, not covered. That's deliberate, so partial gaps don't hide.
Why a desk shows a gap
A service point only expects coverage if it's marked requires coverage with a minimum number of staff. Set that under Settings → Service points so Stacks knows what "covered" means for each desk.
